Our softwood logs are typically a mix of spruce, larch and pine, all carefully seasoned and dried to ensure reliable performance in wood‑burning stoves and log burners.

Softwood is often underestimated, but when properly seasoned it provides clean, efficient heat. These logs ignite quickly and burn hotter than hardwood, making them ideal for getting your fire established or when fast heat is needed. Due to their natural resin content, we recommend using softwood in enclosed stoves, where any spitting is safely contained.

All our softwood logs are well‑seasoned, barn‑stored and Ready to Burn accredited, ensuring a moisture content below 20% for a clean, consistent burn every time.
